What is the Role like?

  • In a short window of time we have begun work with some of the largest banks in the United States to migrate tens of millions of cards and accounts on our platform.
  • As Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for owning the end to end program management for Implementations. In this high-touch role, you will use your consultative listening and selling skills to thoroughly understand our client's business and then coordinate with and own the delivery schedule of a team of Solution architects, Product Managers, and Implementation engineers to successfully complete the project on-time, on-budget and on-specification

    This is a newly created position adding to our existing team. As Senior Program Manager, you will build out our rapidly growing Professional services organization.

    The ideal candidate will bring a customer first mindset along with a proven record of leading professional services teams.

    Key responsibilities for this position are, Delivery

  • You will lead cross-functional teams comprising implementation engineers, solution architects, product managers to deliver complex programs.
  • You will plan and manage project schedules, anticipate project risks and provide mitigation strategies.
  • You will as a need basis provide escalation management recommending engineering trade-offs and decisions aligned with business goals.
  • Stakeholder Management

  • You will manage conflicts, drive effective teamwork, communication and collaboration partnering across multiple business units with competing priorities.
  • Program Management

  • You will identify opportunities, define and institutionalize processes for accurately capturing scope, dependencies, schedule, metrics, risks for program success and effectively communicating the program status and updates / reports to all stakeholders on a regular cadence
  • Product & Engineering

  • Engage and provide customer feedback and input to the product roadmap and act as a voice of the customer regarding issues / opportunities and enhancements.
  • Thoroughly understand your clients’ business objectives and strategize with Zeta’s product, business development, and senior management team members to identify new opportunities and solutions.
  • Working closely with the Operations teams (Zeta and Client) to see the implementation of each contract / agreement from start to end.
  • In this team leadership role you are expected to :

  • Build, develop and manage a high performance program management team responsible for implementing Zeta SaaS solutions for Banks / Fintechs.
  • Create repeatable and scalable processes and playbooks to deliver implementations and conversions at scale
  • Create a client engagement model and constantly improve it with each engagement
  • Support sales efforts at prospects to convey confidence in our ability to execute
  • Who should apply for this Role?

    Experience

  • 10+ years of Program Management experience in the Issuer Payment Processing industry, ideally in the Credit Card Domain
  • 3-5+ years of Strong experience in program managing large cross-functional SaaS Implementation projects right from inception to launch overseeing the full lifecycle
  • A good understanding of the issuer processing industry vocabulary, concepts and project steps
  • Experience in handling projects involving migrations / conversions will be useful
  • Experience in providing cross-functional coordination with engineering, product and inter / intra team communications to technical and non-technical groups.
  • Experience in working with tools to manage schedule, cost and risks of ongoing projects and provide reports to management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to build strong relationships and lead and influence cross-functional and partner teams
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Organized, detail oriented, flexible, self-starter and highly motivated
  • Strong communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate well with teammates and business partners and influence business decisions
  • Specific knowledge

  • Understanding of banking tech systems and vendors
  • Knowledge and understanding of legacy platforms used by large financial institutions.
  • Expert knowledge of integrating with payment networks, processors and core banking systems
  • Expert knowledge of integrating with 3rd party financial software solutions such as CRM, LOS, FRM, bill payment, ATM networks, card printing, etc.
  • Knowledge of standards, regulations and mitigation
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
  • Deep domain knowledge of market landscape and understanding of core banking systems and related ecosystem of payments, credit card, issuing services, fraud, digital and related solutions.
  • General Skills

  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving ability, and tech savvy
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills able to influence and manage the expectations of senior executives internally and externally.
  • Adaptable, approachable, open-minded with a clear understanding of the business; The incumbent must bring the ability and orientation to contribute beyond their scope of work.
  • Ability to perform as an individual contributor (in-direct team leader) and as a manager with direct reports.

  • Strong ability, aptitude, and desire to network and to earn the confidence of diverse senior client leaders in marketing, sales, product, technology, operations, finance and procurement functions.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal comfortable presenting to C’ level and boards.

  • Education

  • Software Engineering background preferred. MBA from an accredited, top tier institution is not required but desired
