Position Summary :
At Perforce, we are looking for a leader to oversee and direct the day-to-day operations of Perforce’s Cloud Operations to assure the security, reliability, and high availability of all our production environments and applications.
In this key role, you will drive the implementation of automated tools and technologies to enable efficient delivery, and service management of the production services.
This position will oversee existing data centers as well as the establishment of new ones as we continue to expand our infrastructure and the integration between physical and virtual locations (AWS, Azure and GCP) across the different geographical regions.
Manage, monitor Perforce’s infrastructure and service availability.
Create a cloud operations practice that includes state of art model for : Visibility, organization of cloud deployments Provisioning & orchestration Cost management & resource optimization Cloud migration, backup, disaster recovery Monitoring & observability Inventory & classification Service enablement
Attract, engage, retain, coach teams of exceptional engineers and architects to create a CloudOps team focused on customer-centric products and service- including mentoring, recruiting, training and development, performance evaluation.
Implement application security best practices throughout the agile SDLC.
Foster and advocate for a DevOps culture at Perforce to ensure efficient testing, delivery, and deployment of all software artifacts.
Implement tools and automation to enhance the observability, management, and diagnosis of the Perforce software platforms and applications.
Track, manage, and report the cost of Perforce’s cloud infrastructure.
BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management or a related field preferred.
10+ years experience in across the software development space.
Passion to drive organizational and technical operational excellence for commercial cloud-based products and services, ideally with a technology company.
Technical ability to problem solve with engineers and drive technical trade-offs and decisions.
Hands on experience as a software developer and technical leader is a must.
Deep technical knowledge of cloud-based scalable web application architectures and technologies; AWS preferred.
Proficiency driving secure SDLC with DevSecOps practices and metrics.
Hands on development with infrastructure as code frameworks; Terraform and Serverless Framework a plus.
Ability to increase team performance with Agile SCRUM and Kanban development methods while minimizing technical debt.
Experience implementing automation for cloud infrastructure observability, reliability, management, and FinOps.
Knowledge of information security compliance standards; SOC2, PCI a plus.
