Overview Help us grow the business! Our strategy analysts utilise data to solve key business problems. They are responsible for providing relevant insights to help the company make the right decisions, address key challenges, and identify new pathways to growth.

They will have the opportunity to work across the entire Corporate Markets businesses globally and will get the opportunity to add value to a leading global MNC brand that is the #1 or #2 player in each of the markets we operate.

The senior strategy analyst job entails identifying the needs of the business organisation and developing plans to determine the overall direction it should take to actualize its goals.

It also involves driving critical business insights by gathering, reviewing, and testing data, applying a number of measures to provide solutions to key business decisions.

Strategy analysts address a business problem, taking a long-term perspective, but can also execute on near term quarterly goals.

The strategy may also include developing product comparisons, competitor analysis, pricing strategies, identifying new growth initiatives, and building a pipeline of partnership opportunities.

Strategy analysts also work closely with Product, Growth, Sales and Business Development to increase its market share. Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate, strategies to address competition, changes in customer preference, and improvements in product and marketing to ensure the company remains competitive
  • Conduct pricing, product, competitor and partner analysis
  • Utilise customer information from CRM data and customer research to understand trends and opportunities
  • Leverage on market / customer research, trends, and competitor analysis to drive revenue, increase yield, improve market share, and enhance customer loyalty
  • Provide analytical support to all key events e.g. Acquisition of a business, Major customer tender bid
  • Perform financial analysis and modelling for new opportunities
  • Responsible for conducting financial planning and analysis of large datasets to assess the clinical, operational, and financial performance of existing fee-for-service and integrated care programs
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to provide insight into the firms overall strategy by identifying critical questions performing ad-hoc analyses
  • Summarize insights from analysis and clearly communicate analytical findings in a cohesive story; and articulate an argument to be presented to executives
  • Responsible for building appropriate external and internal client-facing materials
  • Identify, communicate, and execute on new opportunities related to the firm’s businesses functions
  • Experience & Personal Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with demonstrated high performance
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • A results-driven approach to work, proven personal initiative and an ability to work proactively and with a strong sense of urgency
  • A strong focus on personal growth and development, and a willingness to regularly receive and act on performance feedback in pursuit of continuous professional growth
  • Resilience in response to setbacks, and an ability to anticipate and overcome barriers to success

  • High level of comfort with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Experience in management consulting
  • Experience and familiarity with Financial Services and B2B business models
  • Experience interacting and communicating effectively with members of a complex organization at multiple levels
  • An MBA or a Master’s degree in business or equivalent
