Job Description

FRSS-Process Improvement (PI) is the execution and delivery arm of S&E&R pillar of FRSS

The FRSS Process Improvement Development Intmd. Analyst position will be responsible of developing tools and applications, testing new technologies, performance tuning and optimization of existing code, focused on Python automation solutions.

Another key role for this position is to have a broad understanding of Lean methodologies and lead business process reviews, identify process improvement opportunities and drive execution of reengineering in FRSS

This position supports the Global FRSS Process Improvement organization, partnering with Process Improvement team and Function’s Leaders to identify and structure strategic process improvement programs and projects to drive full-scale process transformation and automation.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Develop, configure and execute Python automation platform tasks and other emerging technologies to automate processes while ensuring all the technology mandates and coding guidelines are met properly
  • Leads and drives complex, cross-functional Lean programs, and training for business and functional partners
  • Provides project reporting and oversight as appropriate
  • Partners with other Process Improvement team members as needed to execute programs
  • Partners with Process Leads to identify opportunities to apply automation solutions and build a book of work in line with priorities and the objectives of the Services Strategy.
  • In addition to being able to work with and influence Senior Management, this will require a commitment to staying up to date with which technologies are best suited to different use-cases and to translate those into business cases
  • Develops and deliver program reporting and senior stakeholder presentations.
  • Responsible for defining & meeting project / Use Cases milestones, monitoring adherence to project scope, requirements and design documents in accordance with GFT guidelines
  • Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent solution delivery
  • Reports status, issues and risks to Process leads on a regular basis
  • Complies with Citi's design and coding standards, policies and procedures
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
  • As required, provide the required training session and give hand to hand support while executing Python and other automation projects
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills
  • Communicate to all stakeholders on a timely basis and in a clear, succinct manner
  • Knowledge / Experience :

  • 6 years of experience in development of technological solutions or a technological environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or technology related fields.
  • Work experience with time spent applying Lean or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Python automation platform Certification desired with experience executing Python automation or similar to automate processes, preferably in a finance environment
  • Process automation leveraging emerging technologies experience including Power BI Required
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Experience in developing automation solutions for Operations and Services will be highly valued.
  • Ability to execute development projects.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Data analytics, especially workload, cost analysis and internal / external benchmarking.
  • Ability to influence and work effectively with Senior Managers and with large teams across countries, functions and businesses.
  • Understanding of the drivers of value, including the ability to size and prioritize large-scale initiatives across Businesses and Functions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to structure logical analysis in presentations.
  • An in-depth understanding of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly motivated, organized and methodical
  • Must be able to quickly learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
