The Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) organization is helping Amazon fulfill this commitment. And at WHS-Tech, we are exploring technology solutions to realize this vision and change the way we track and ensure safety of our field associates.

From using devices to monitor and improve environment / health, to linking together data from our buildings and devices to plan safety-related events, to creating product suites for efficient tracking and management of safety practices we have a huge opportunity to further enhance the safety and well-being of our associates.

We are building our tech capabilities ground-up and are seeking smart, passionate engineers to be part of these greenfield initiatives.

The ideal candidate would be self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and can move at a fast pace with a high degree of ownership.

As a member of this team, you will work on a wide array of technologies IoT and sensor based solutions, Computer Vision applications, web applications in NAWS and build scalable, reliable products for worldwide requirements.

You will build on top of Amazon’s vast development infrastructure, leverage the internal tools and community to learn and grow your technical skills, and drive impact to critical outcomes that are important to Amazon.

As a senior leader on the team, you will balance technical leadership with strong business judgment to make the right decisions about technology and methodologies choices.

You are comfortable building prototypes and challenging assumptions, while also developing for fault tolerance and scale.

You deliver quickly to customers, but never lose sight of the greater architectural goals and move the team further towards them with every incremental launch.

You are a fierce advocate of building the hardest thing first and solving only what we need to right now, but always keep the big picture in mind.

You mentor the team, hold a high bar for the team's deliverables and drive a culture of learning and inclusion.
