The Red Hat Asia Pacific (APAC) Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Technologies (MarTech) Operations Manager to join us in Bangalore, India.
In this role, you will empower APAC marketers to guide measurable business impact by engaging customers and prospects wherever they are in their journey.
You will be involved in operationalizing the go-to-market for APAC marketers with MarTech tools and platforms. You’ll be responsible for defining, aligning, and implementing the global MarTech priorities in conjunction with local market requirements in APAC.
You will be involved in agency rationalization and maintaining the MarTech ecosystem in APAC. You will use clearly defined key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report success.
As a Marketing Technologies Operations Manager, you’ll be in a senior operations lead position within the APAC Marketing team and collaborate with executive and sales management as well as operate in a regional, field, and globally matrixed environment.
Primary job responsibilities
Develop plans with global marketing to ensure data and process integration of systems that support key marketing processes are in sync in APAC
Lead marketing infrastructure deployment and integration in APAC, including outlining technology roles and responsibilities and evaluating the maturity of skills and process required to utilize technology
Be responsible for promoting the adoption and utilization of the organization’s current marketing technologies in APAC
Periodically liaison with global for any APAC specific customizations on MarTech tools and processes
Create process maps and documentation of MarTech operational tool workflows in APAC
Work with the MarTech Operations team to deliver effective change management and communications for technology implementation and process re-engineering within marketing
Lead agency rationalization and vendor onboarding in the region on MarTech tools and platforms
Work on platform troubleshooting, especially email marketing and reporting tools with the appropriate global teams or vendors
Provide enablement of tools and platforms and new MarTech process updates to the APAC marketing teams
Document MarTech tools intake and other processes for APAC marketing teams
Gather and disseminate internal and external marketing technology best practices
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; graduate degree is a plus
10+ years of experience working in the technology industry
Experienced in working cross functional and multi-cultural teams
Deep expertise in Marketing Technology platforms and working with diverse vendors
Experienced in Eloqua, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Salesforce.com (SFDC), and event automation tools
Ability to project manage large workloads and meet deadlines
Strategic and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret research and data
Creative problem solver and resourceful in escalation situations with a proactive approach
Excellent communication and presentation skills
