Summary of Role :
GLOBALFOUNDRIES is looking for a highly motivated software engineer to work in the GSO team located in Bangalore, India.

The Global Shuttle MPW team enables customers around the globe to prototype their chip designs on Multi Project Wafers (MPWs) and gives all required support to them to make their silicon prototype successful and eventually turn it into a product manufactured at GLOBALFOUNDRIES.
MPW runs are offered by GLOBALFOUNDRIES for a large variety of technologies, from leading edge FinFet to State-of-the-Art BiCMOS, RF and Silicon Photonics, manufactured in Fabs located in Singapore, US and Germany.
The Global Shuttle MPW team belongs to GLOBALFOUNDRIES' Pre-and Post Fab Operations and is a global team with offices in the U.
S., Singapore, India and Germany.
This role requires a close working relationship with the engineers that use these processes to deliver qualified designs.
Essential Responsibilities :
Modify existing and develop new software infrastructure
Improve existing and develop new end-to-end workflows for Globalshuttle MPW program management , MPW Project execution and assembly
Interact with the team and reach out to other teams such as design teams, mask teams, and data mask data prep teams to obtain information on functional requirements and priorities for new features of GSO’s workflows
Maintain detailed application documentation and revision control
Contribute to multiple projects and expert in test strategies
Skills and Abilities :
Be comfortable working through all stages of the software development life-cycle from requirements, development, test and deployment using Agile disciplines
Work in a dynamic collaborative environment requiring strong teaming skills with programmers, engineers, managers, and production employees
Strong ability to learn and explore new technologies and who are able to demonstrate good analysis and problem solving skills are preferred
Ability to develop critical functionalities consistently and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent with multiple years of professional experience
UNIX based script development and WEB programming skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with different cultures across different sites
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Semiconductor experience in a foundry environment, preferably in an integration / process or tapeout execution role
Detail-oriented with first-time right quality output
