Role Summary
Work with the customer, HW teams and PLMs to derive the Software Feature Requirement specifications for radio software and work with the R&D team in implementing the same and to ensure Traceability.
Shall define what needs to be implemented along with architectural aspects for Radio Software for maximizing re-use.

Job Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering with 12 to 20 yrs of experience in wireless domain in areas related to 3GPP Layer1 / Layer2, Embedded Software implementations and SoCs like Xilinx, Qualcomm, Intel, etc.
Minimum of 2 yrs of experience as System Engineer or as Architect with focus on OAM modules for any wireless networks.
Knowledge on Data models for any wireless base stations is a must.
Expertise on Modem Architectures with Multi-board, Multi-CPU embedded systems and management Models for the same is a must.
Understanding and experience of wireless Front haul and ORAN interfaces is preferred.
Expertise on FCAPS management of any wireless (mobile) systems is a must.
Working Knowledge on ORAN based management systems and timing sync protocols like PTP, SyncE is a plus.
Expertise on ORAN DU and RU Yang models and Netconf protocols as defined in ORAN Specs is a plus.
Expertise on 5G mmimo / mmw L1 / L2 is a must.
Expertise on radio FPGA implementations and algorithms like DPD, CFR, etc and matlab simulations is a plus.
Exposure to 5G Radio development and integration is a plus.
Shall be a good team player and a go-getter
Very good communication and presentation skills are a must
Ability to work with multiple stake holders including Product Managers, system Engineers and Developers
Experience in technical Co-ordination skills across teams including multi-site teams is preferred.
