The Sr. Manager of Analytics Center of Excellence(ACOE) will play a pivotal role in JCPenney’ s global technology team by building and running the Analytics team in Bangalore and helping to create a global working model in partnership with the Director of Analytics.
Reporting to this leader will be individual contributors and team leaders in Bangalore.The ideal candidate will be influential with their peers and architects in delivering on the JCPenney Business Intelligence & Analytics Roadmap.
Critical Primary Responsibilities :
Develop insight to data, and review findings with business partners. Provide superb customer service through clear and concise communications as well as complete documentation.
Work closely with Product Owner Operations Insights to build POC in order to establish business health metrics and develop automation solutions to improve operations efficiency
Have in-depth, hands-on knowledge of all components of Adobe Analytics (aka Sitecatalyst or Omniture) including SDR, variables (sprops, evars, events), plug-ins, campaign tracking (internal, external), SAINT classifications, link Tracking, marketing channels (SEO, SEM, e-mail, social) tracking, attribution modeling
Understand data layer implementation on new sites and pages across website properties
Partner with US development teams for user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation
Diagnose issues with existing platform configurations tags, and provide recommendations for improvement
Coordinate upgrades and new functionality with appropriate internal and external team members
Generate and schedule reports in Adobe analytics, report builder and ad-hoc analysis (aka Discover)
Provide on-time and precise ad-hoc analytics support with actionable business insights
Maintain working knowledge of industry best practices and changes in analytics platforms, and identify how they impact existing clients
Critical Skills & Experiences :
5-8 years of experience with the Adobe suite : Adobe Analytics (SiteCatalyst), Target (Test & Target), Report Builder and Ad-hoc analysis (Discover)
Two or more years of experience with web diagnostic tools like Fiddler 2, Charles proxy, Firebug or Digital Pulse Debugger
Three or more years of experience creating and maintaining operational data quality monitoring processes
Three or more years of experience with key features of Adobe Analytics including eVars, s props, success events, VISTA rules, SAINT classifications, raw data feeds, pathing / fallout, and marketing channels
Experience working with tag management platforms (Ensighten, Tealium, DTM) and data layers
Familiarity with SQL, expert in MS office suite and Tableau
Excellent communication skills to articulate needs and opportunities with technical and nontechnical audiences
Adobe and Tag management certification is a plus
