As a core team member of Research Portfolio, incumbent will collaborate with other technology groups within Eaton and enable organic growth.
Contributes in technology realization programs / projects utilizing our internal project execution processes, including Gate Reviews, Design Reviews, and Technical Reviews.
Also responsible to conceptualise eMobility Power Electronics solutions for electric vehicles ( Hybrid, Fuel Cell Electric, Battery Electric).
Incumbent is responsible to support development of technical proposals in consultation with Lead Engineers, Subject Matter Experts.
Responsible to study latest market drivers, technology trends.
Optimize design for energy efficiency and various performance strategies using physical modeling or simulation toolsSupport reserach projects from conceptualization to commericialisation under guidance of Subject Matter Experts
Leads project level deliverables in High-Speed Communication Circuits, and Digital and Analog Controls, I / O Interface Circuits and Control Hardware.
Writes and maintains product specifications and functional specifications of design solutions for inverter product to meet performance, functional safety and reliability.
Develops engineering tools and continuously improves operational efficiency.
Evaluates alternative design solutions to meet product development requirements factoring in performance, cost and schedule.
Interface with products teams in EIIC and global locations; act as the liaison for program associated with associated simulation technologies
Executes projects as per recommendations and in compliance with ASPICE and IATF 16949
Deploys FMEA / FMEDA process to enhance design robustness. Contribute to continued enhancement of architecture to support additional product features.
Experience in Vehicle to Grid charging solution development, pulsed power, capacitor chargers, electromagnetics, microelectronics, and thermal design is a plus.
