The role includes all technical challenges associated with analysing, defining and documenting specification requirements, designing&developing .
Net applications to meet needs for better business process management and solutions that are aligned with the business needs of Herman Miller.
The ideal aspirant should understand the software development lifecycle and use agile methodology to implement solutions that deliver on end-user needs.
The Associate Lead will perform other duties as assigned, that are in line with the role’s responsibilities and are required for the business.
Along with technical expertise, this role involves the following people management responsibilities :
Regular team connects and one-one meetings with the team members
Performance reviews / Get-togethers
HR policy compliance (leave and discipline)
Mentoring, coaching and development of team members as necessary
Participation in all recruitment activities of the team
This role transcends organizational and geographical boundaries as it aims at supporting and enabling the various divisions of the Herman Miller business across the globe.
Angular 7 or above
SQL / T-SQL / Stored Procedures
9-12 years of hands-on experience in application development using Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET etc.)
The aspirant will have to demonstrate very good interpersonal and relationship management skills having worked in a large team environment.
Experience in leading and managing a team of developers and testers is a must.
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical professionals at all levels of the organization
Strong experience in full life-cycle application development
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented analysis and design
Experience working with Product owners to clarify requirements.
Experience with troubleshooting production systems.
Understanding of best practices with team-based development in Git
Strong knowledge of software development patterns and best practices
Understanding of DB Design and software architecture, especially with SQL Server
Knowledge of current and emerging technological development in software and web technologies
Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
Experience with developing Test Plans.
Experience building solutions in AWS a plus.
Experience working with a Content Management System is a plus
