Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible Leading IT for Philips in the Indian Sub-Continent (7000+ employees), which includes two divisions-
Health Systems & Personal Health, Global R&D Centers, Manufacturing Operations, and Global Shared Service Center (GBS). He / she will be responsible for providing General management of IT & Operations of Market or major portions thereof.
Performing stakeholder engagement including representing all of Philips IT, manages application operations, manages infrastructure operations including supplier management, performs people management, and manages financials including creating annual operating plan, quarterly updates.
The incumbent will also be responsible for deploying the Technology strategy, portfolio and programs of IT
You are responsible for
Hierarchically and functionally responsible for all Market IT Staff
Demand Management for the Market Stakeholder engagement
Managing Markets, IT to remain competitive in terms of adherence to AOP and quality standards
Drive the culture of LEAN and continuous improvement by utilizing Daily management and problem solving
Representing Philips IT in all contacts with the businesses and (Market) management with regard to operating the global and local IT services
Act as IT Business Partner of Markets taking end to end accountability for Operations
Escalation level for Site IT Managers, who act as Business Partner for local Site Management
Conclude service agreements for local IT services Infra and Apps to be defined and agreed with the IT BP for the Market Applications Operations management
Delivery of first line support for global services against agreed service levels & costs
Participate in global IT programs and services including E2E transformation programs
Managing contracts with external partners regarding local IT services
Deliver local (legal / fiscal / regulatory) projects
Drive global project roll outs on local sites
Deploy global processes whenever possible and enforce the use of them.
Infrastructure Operations management
Regional field operations for network, telecom, and end user devices
Management of Regional Operations in Data Centers both Philips owned and outsourced Data Centers to partner
Supplier Management, e.g. Day to day demand management towards 3rd party suppliers for Infra services such as DC, Network, Telecom services People management
Source, develop, host and provide resources for IT Infra & Operations, for changes and for projects with required skills at competitive costs.
Manage team of Site IT Delivery Managers, Regional / Cluster operations, First Line support and local for local support team. Financial management
Creating annual operation plan including quarterly update via Rolling Forecast process
Operating local IT services (both Application and Infra) against competitive costs, agreed in SLA. Profit / Loss accountable for Cluster results.
Managing Markets, IT to remain competitive in terms of adherence to AOP and quality standards
Drive the culture of LEAN and Continuous Improvement
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master’s’ degree or equivalent experience including certifications in a related field (Business, IT, Engineering)
Excellent management knowledge of major segments of IT
Excellent relationship and organizational skills with ability to create effective relationships with business and within IT
Understanding of applications, infrastructure, and supplier management. Requires strong operational skills in applications, infrastructure, and the key components
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to stitch together various business requirements to figure out an appropriate IT solution
Ability to understand complex issues and break down into component issues and manage the resolution of IT problems
Ability to drive systematically the resolution of a problem and help formulate a solution to preclude the likely hood of a future occurrence
Act as a strong change advocate of major initiatives
Have strong planning, organizing, and project management
Has experience in managing, driving and delivering on key objectives within agreed upon schedule.
