Should be involved in every aspect of IT- IT Management, Project Management, Systems / Network Support & Administration, Infrastructure Consulting, Network Security and Hardware Support with directing and driving activities that provides innovative Information Technology Solutions Responsibilities Networking & System Administration Assist in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to IT infrastructure.
Responsible for defining security frameworks for existing and new systems. Responsible for system security planning, developing, and implementing security policies across multiple platforms.
Ensures successful implementation and maintenance of the defined standards. Ensures compliance of IT Security Policies. Provides support in security management and security architect standards and documentations.
Manages and supports networking and security services in LAN, WAN and Internet network infrastructure Manages security devices such as firewall, IDS, VPN, etc Provides technical support and consultation for enhancement of and change to network security configuration Provides fault resolution and escalation Maintains documentation Defines processes to manage the network security Develops cutting-edge, innovative solutions for IT networks security.
Studies the proliferation of viruses; prevent hacker intrusion. Conducts active penetration tests; discover vulnerabilities in information systems.
Evaluating user needs and system functionality Ensuring that IT facilities meet the needs of individuals and projects Oversees the administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure Internal systems Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides support when necessary.
Works with project teams to help implement Internal Systems. In depth knowledge of service management processes / tools and strong track record in process improvement Help Desk Administration Oversees all help desk activities.
Responds to escalated help desk issues Interacts with internal customers on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
Asset Management Planning, developing and implementing the IT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, where appropriate, to ensure cost effectiveness Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.
Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies Ensuring that software licensing laws are adhered to Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly Customer Management Manages day-to-day internal customer interaction Sets and manages internal customer expectations.
Communicates effectively with internal customers to identify needs and provides solutions. Continually seeks opportunities to increase internal customer satisfaction.
General Management Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility. Serves as main point of contact on all IT-related matters for the office assigned.
Will meet regularly with VP of Global Operations and other department heads to ensure communication and procedures are being adhered to Responds / acts on upper-management direction.
Conducts effective performance evaluations Helps team execute career development plan. Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate. Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.
