RE Manager, MT,CSD, E-Com Purpose of Role This is a Role of Strategic Importance for Mondelez India Foods Ltd. The incumbent in this role will be responsible for defining the Strategy and Activation Programs for the Modern Trade, AFH, CSD and E-

Com Channels.Salient points are as follows : 1. The Channels that the role manages contribute to a significant proportion of Mondelez's growth in 2019 and beyond 2.

The incumbent will be responsible for working closely with the MT & E-com heads to deliver P&Ls - both top line and bottom line 3.

The person in the role will also interface closely with the category teams to influence PPA & Category activation strategies towards the need of the channel

Main Responsibilities '(a) Business Operations & Monitoring

  • Development of the RE Strategy for MT & CSD - covering both top line and bottom line
  • Driving specific category objectives
  • Management and adherence to Gross to Net spends for channel
  • Delivering Revenue growth and Market Share
  • As Modern Trade is growing at >

    3X of traditional trade, this role is at par with that of a regional activation lead. This role requires the strategic midset and operaitonal excellence to grow the channel in addition to position and stature to ensure that the growth is incremental to the business and margin accretive.

    The Key changes in this role as the channel evolves are as follows : 1. Scale : In 2015, MT+ CSD + E- com used to be the 5th largest business (behind all branches).

    In 2019, it will be the biggest business vertical 2. Complexity : a. E-Commerce will be added to the responsibilities for the role.

    b. Modern Trade chains are looking at expanding at an unprecedented rate. 3. Influencing stakeholders : a. One of the key pillars of growth in this role will be channel specific PPA.

    The incumbent in the role will need to influence Category Directors and Category Managers to ensure that correct price pack architecture solutions are delivered and in time.

    b. This role also involves conflict across channels and management of the same. The incumbent will need to pull rank at times with KAMs and also influence Branch Managers to ensure that growth is driven in a hygienic and desirable manner 4.

    Additional Responsibilities : a. India wil be a focus market for Net Revenue management and MT will be a focus channel. The person in the role will need to lead work across the 6 pillars of Net Revenue management.

    He / she will need to work with the regional team and finance to deliver this b. We will also be doing the ground work for implementing an integrated promo planning and demand forecasting tool in India in the next 24 months.

    The RE manager will need to lead this c. CSD activation (not done in the past) will be a deliverable for 2019 d. As MT grows, ROI based decision making and accelerating the channel profitability improvement is a key task

    Qualifications

    Career Experiences Required & Role Implications (For NA roles please include years of work experience and education required)

    Managerial Experience ( 8-10 years) in FMCG Sales with at least 3-4 years in Key Account Management - Experience in Driving a change agenda & proven track record of influencing key account customers -

    Knowledge of Retail Environment drivers and Shopper marketing strategies
