Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey.

From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base.

This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more.

In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the Financial and New Monetization Platform within Google Pay.

You will take part in the complete marketing and Go-To-Market (GTM) experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey across strategy, research, creative, offers, media, and measurement.

From determining product value proposition, analysis, feature prioritization, user acquisition, and retention campaigns, you will help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base.

Understanding the landscape of credit and how we might be helpful to the user. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing and business development strategy from beginning to end.

  • Lead key insights into financial landscape of Indian consumers. Build market insights on user and category barriers across credit, lending and other fintech opportunity plays.
  • Work with Product to influence roadmap for financial platform within Google Pay.

  • Build internal communication strategy for sharing actionable, incisive insights, generate buy-in from product and engineering partners to drive action, and work with product teams to identify critical user journeys for potential and active consumers.
  • Identify opportunities to drive step-changes in user growth, increase engagement with product features, and drive adoption of existing features.
  • Analyze, design, and optimize funnels to drive user action towards actions that lead to higher retention and business metrics.
  • Design user growth experiments and create user lifecycle programs that drive product adoption, engagement, and efficient spend.

    Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 9 years of industry experience in the financial sector
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience designing and launching new business programs from scratch, from the ideation phase through exec buy-in to post-launch optimization
  • Experience in marketing to late adopters in a category via simplified propositions and non-traditional marketing channels
  • Experience with growth or product marketing in the consumer Internet industry
  • Experience with financial metrics and using data to inform marketing or product strategy with exceptional analytical skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and passion for digital payments
  • Deep interest in the behavioral economics behind user decisions, with a history of creative problem-solving and bias towards action
