Position Description :
To be part of a highly skilled and challenging high speed PHY design team working on the latest technology nodes (12nm and below).
To develop advanced High speed and mixed signal IPs including DDR PHY and sub-blocks PLL, DLL, IO PADS, Equalizers, Voltage regulators, LDO, Bandgap references, High speed Datapath etc.
Define the architecture and microarchitecture of the IP’s and its sub functions
Responsible for all aspects of designs such as schematic capture, Verilog Modeling, layout review, simulation & analysis of critical electrical and timing parameters, documentation and silicon bring-up
Responsible for PHY Timing budgets
Active involvement in problem solving and implementing opportunities for improvement
Driving innovation and develop new architectures for best-in-class solution
Mentoring and coaching other design team members on technical issues
Pair with Digital designers to ensure smooth interface between Digital and Analog circuits
Pair with Board / Package designers for overall working products.

SKILLS required :
Experience on circuit design of DDR PHY, PLL, DLL, Regulators, High-Speed IOs with full ownership from specifications to silicon
Working knowledge of Mixed mode simulation, Signal Integrity and ESD
Experience of leading and guiding a team of analog designers and layout engineers
Strong fundamental knowledge for AMS design, Advanced CMOS and FinFet technologies
Experience in leading R&D and future technology development projects.
The position requires good written & verbal communication skills as well a strong commitment and ability to work in cross functional and globally dispersed teams.
Team leadership experience, including planning and managing tasks is desirable
