Position Description :

  • To be part of a highly skilled and challenging high speed PHY design team working on the latest technology nodes (12nm and below).
  • To develop advanced High speed and mixed signal IPs including DDR PHY and sub-blocks PLL, DLL, IO PADS, Equalizers, Voltage regulators, LDO, Bandgap references, High speed Datapath etc.
  • Define the architecture and microarchitecture of the IP’s and its sub functions
  • Responsible for all aspects of designs such as schematic capture, Verilog Modeling, layout review, simulation & analysis of critical electrical and timing parameters, documentation and silicon bring-up
  • Responsible for PHY Timing budgets
  • Active involvement in problem solving and implementing opportunities for improvement
  • Driving innovation and develop new architectures for best-in-class solution
  • Mentoring and coaching other design team members on technical issues
  • Pair with Digital designers to ensure smooth interface between Digital and Analog circuits
  • Pair with Board / Package designers for overall working products.

  • SKILLS required :

  • Experience on circuit design of DDR PHY, PLL, DLL, Regulators, High-Speed IOs with full ownership from specifications to silicon
  • Working knowledge of Mixed mode simulation, Signal Integrity and ESD
  • Experience of leading and guiding a team of analog designers and layout engineers
  • Strong fundamental knowledge for AMS design, Advanced CMOS and FinFet technologies
  • Experience in leading R&D and future technology development projects.
  • The position requires good written & verbal communication skills as well a strong commitment and ability to work in cross functional and globally dispersed teams.
  • Team leadership experience, including planning and managing tasks is desirable
  • M.S. / M.Tech (Electronics)
