Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The Strategy and Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps the Country Manager identify and drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.

We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As a Country Operations Manager, you will work in direct partnership with the Country Go-to-Market (GTM) Lead and GBO Country Leadership to support maximum efficiency of operations in that market.

You will identify and lead short term and long term initiatives for the country. You will excel at navigating and partnering with cross-functional senior level stakeholders, maintaining relationships to enable leadership success.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy.

We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas.

Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Identify strategic initiatives for the country and serve as an adviser to the Country Manager and Country GTM Lead.
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships and coordination with Global Advisory Functions to support the Country Manager and enable country success.
  • Drive best practices through internal and external benchmarking. Help drive the in-country specialist communities and ensure alignment across markets.
  • Program support to help arrange internal communications (e.g. site events, Country Manager-sponsored People and Culture initiatives), external engagements and outreach.
  • Assume leadership and day-to-day responsibility for key high-profile projects linked with the above responsibilities as determined by the GTM Country Lead.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • MBA or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience working in a consulting firm, scaled start-ups and / or tech industry.
  • Experience in partnering with senior level stakeholders.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives as a project manager.
  • A tolerance for ambiguity and ability to work in a changing environment, with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills coupled with effective business acumen.
  • Good networking skills with effective interpersonal skills to work across various business functions and influence different stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills.
