Embedded tech lead will develop products and provides services for smart device integrators and manufacturers. These products and services will provide enabling technology for the analysis and administration of large populations of smart devices.

Responsibilities :

Engineer solutions using C++ and Java (Android)

Build embedded libraries and resolve dependent library issues on embedded Linux and Android platforms

Collaborate with business colleagues and OEM business and engineering teams on requirements and create effective solution designs that integrate the services sold to the OEM into their platform

Develop new products and features to enable smart device services

Collaborate with Product Management and Product Design teams to investigate customer problem reports and discuss new feature requests from the OEMs

Utilize best practices for device security and privacy

Collaborate with QA for automated and manual testing of products and supporting infrastructure

Identify improvement / automation opportunities, and propose innovation ideas

Qualifications / Skills :

A Bachelor’s or preferably an MS / degree in CSE / ETC / EEE.

7+ years of experience of software development experience, preferably in embedded environments

Experience developing on embedded Linux and Android platforms

Good programming experience on C++ and / or Java

Familiarity with Python, SQL and AWS Client programming will be a strong plus

Understanding of security concepts including safe handling of credentials, SSL, x.509 certificates is desired

Familiarity with git, Jenkins, issue management tools (Jira) will be a strong plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment (Agile-SCRUM).

Solid understanding of software fundamentals

Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Experience working with international colleagues or clients
