Key Responsibilities :

  • Implementationof channel pre-season strategy for aligned OTB Planning &Management following the cluster financialtargets
  • Manage buying process for the assignedchannel(s) and assure right volumes are bought following clusterOTB plans and in accordance with the cluster and Market CTCAssortment Plan teams
  • Prepare the submission ofinitial seasonal forecasts for Franchise and FO channels intoapplicable systems for horizontal review by global functions at keymilestones
  • This role manages ordering for 320franchise stores, over and above the 9 retail stores, creatingorders, and direction plans for 25 storeclusters
  • Regular communication with the Clusterand Market CTC team on updation of the Merchandising and inventoryKPIs both current and forecasted
  • Manage thedetailed category orders, key store orders, and directionalassortment plans for the franchise channel in alignment with theOTB plan and the cluster DTC assortmentplan.
  • Manage the size breakdowns for Franchisechannel process assuring they are created according to clusterneeds and incorporated in the buyingprocess
  • Responsible for cluster seasonal stockposition assuring the right volumes are available in stores andwarehouse(s), and inform of changes to Allocationteams
  • Provide cluster in-season trading,assuring timely sales forecast by product, stock intakes andin-season markdowns for Franchise channel andRetail
  • Provide input to Market CTC AssortmentPlanning teams in regard to range needs by storetier
  • Manage cluster relevant store tieringprocess following global store tiering guidance, in collaborationwith CTC Assortment Planning teams.
  • Drive foreffective flow of stock from Franchise to assure product relevancein regular stores, adequate stock clearance and marginoptimisation
  • Build and leverage relationshipswith cross-functional teams (e.g. CTC, Allocation & Trading) toobtain information necessary to achieve businessobjectives

  • Knowledge,Skills andAbilities :

  • Relevantjob experience in a Planning & Buying function, and fullyqualified and trained
  • Combined broadtheoretical and practical knowledge incl. company policies andpractices
  • Strong competence with Buying &Planning, procedures andsystems
  • RequisiteEducation and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :

    8 years typical relevant workexperience

    NIFT graduate Masters of FashionManagement / Fashion Technology and / or a University degree inbusiness, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalentprofessionalexperience
