You will be building applications and services that will help banks' developers and IT staff to deploy applications in our company's compute cluster.
You will be expected to simplify extension and customisation of the our banking platform and reduce overheads associated with running high availability payment applications to banks.
You will also be involved in the hiring, retention and engagement metrics of the team.
You will be responsible for :
Setting up 24 / 7 Incident response & management functions with best practices and SLA commitments to provide uninterrupted business services to our enterprise customers.
Conceiving and implementing Incident management systems, workflows, processes and practices that covers multiple business services, engineering teams and enterprise customers.
Measuring SLAs and associated metrics such as MTTD & MTTR, publishing periodically and taking corrective measures along with engineering teams.
Participating in critical incidents and ensuring teams get the right support with decisions & resources as needed.
Liaison with Engineering directors to build services that are reliable, easy to troubleshoot & resolve.
Supporting continuous improvement of Incident response & management capabilities
SLAs for business services & customer satisfaction of the same.
You have at least 14 years of overall expertise in building and managing a high caliber Incident response and management team responsible for SLAs of applications deployed across multiple data centers for supporting mission critical workloads for millions of concurrent users.
You have experience in applying SLAs and Incident management practices as well as production operations on public cloud & On-premise infrastructure.
You have a good understanding of agile development practices
You have an in-depth understanding of Network & Systems Infrastructure on public cloud and on-prem.
Having good understanding of Multi-tiered architecture and Distributed Systems as well as prior experience with Microservice orchestration, service mesh and Application Instrumentation, Monitoring, Alerting will be a plus.
Experience with Databases - Postgresql, Other Data stores - Elasticsearch and S3, as well as Terraform, Kubernetes, Istio, Docker, Jenkins X and Public cloud providers will be an added advantage.
You have excellent written and oral communication skills and penchant for technical documentation.
