Job Description The Sabre Airline Solutions® business offers a broad range of software and data analytics solutions to help airlines market themselves, sell products, serve customers and operate more efficiently.

It provides both airline reservations systems, and a full suite of marketing and commercial planning software and enterprise operations solutions.

Its data-rich software helps airlines make smarter operational decisions, personalize and retail their products to travelers.

With the development of the organization we are now looking for a new product leader for our Bangalore office Principal Product Management Data & Analytics The industry leading Sabre Data & Analytics solutions are used by airlines all over the world to effectively manage the airline.

  • Product manager develops products by developing product strategies, identifying potential products and enhancements; conducting market research;
  • generating product requirements; determining specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction;
  • The role would also be responsible for developing marketing strategies for the product. As the product manager for Data & Analytics solution you will be responsible for continuing that market leadership and growing the solution with the following responsibilities : Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information and develop product strategies.

  • Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements;
  • appraising new product ideas and / or product changes. Prioritize development to meet customer requirements and to continue solution leadership over competitors.

    Exceptional analytical and quantitative modeling skills with a focus on data-driven decision making Help to identify the analytics platform capabilities needed to enhance the capabilities of analytic based application Stay up to date with industry standards and ensure solution compliance with those standards.

    Maintain a customer community model where investment in the solution provides increasing value for customers. Align solution investment to meet the financial objectives of the company and align with the business strategy of the Data & Analytics solution suite.

    Maintain a solution pricing plan and review sales approvals for pricing compliance. Attend industry conferences to continue Sabre thought leadership in industry standards and generate new sales leads.

    Develop and maintain solution marketing materials, solution descriptions and road maps. Develop strong relationships with customers, delivery, support, sales and account and other partners.

    Responsible for the solution definition and delivery for new or existing products based upon the strategy and business needs as defined by Solutions Marketing.

    Provides direction to and ensures development meets market requirements; manages product release schedule and prioritizes opportunities.

    Manages the annual investment plan (including capitalized investment, maintenance, etc.). Acts as the subject matter expert on a consulting basis on multiple projects.

    Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum 5 years’ experience in the airline industry with relevant experience in product management, delivery or business analysis.

    Experience in Airline revenue management or revenue accounting would be desired. Experience in Business Intelligence tools would be highly desirable.

    Ability to prepare internal and customer facing business presentations. Understanding of technical architecture of complex and highly scalable analytics platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
