This role has the below accountabilities :
GRADUATE PROGRAMMES AND RECRUITMENT Build, maintain and leverage relationships with high end university faculties in order to facilitate the flow of talent.
This will include establishing intern programmes as well as a strong campus presence to extol the value proposition of a career at NAB.
Graduates will be identified early in their penultimate year to ensure we onboards colleagues of the highest quality (noting predominantly a technology focus in initial years).
ACADEMY ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION With both an external focus the role will lead the establishment of academies targeting both pre onboard graduates from a retention and upskill perspective along with building technology and operations guilds (in line with existing onshore programmes where practical) to enhance skills and ensure career progression for professionals.
The colleagues will be seen as market leading from a career development and skillset perspective.
INTERNAL DEVLEOPMENT PROGRAMMES DESIGN AND EXECUTION In order to address targeted skill deficiencies the role will be accountable for design and or delivery of internally facing development programmes.
Where possible these will align to onshore programmes taking into account NABs minimalist approach to learning and will include delivery and embedment of the Distinctive Leadership Programme (DLP) and Career Qualified in Banking (CQIB) programmes at the appropriate juncture.
