The Technical Channel Program Manager focuses on leveraging tools, processes and platforms to improve F5 partner seller experience, making engagement with F5 simple, intuitive and autonomous.

We are looking for a technical and operational individual with deep Salesforce knowledge to take our digital partner experience to the next level by launching self-service capabilities.

You will be responsible for defining and executing scalable self-serve capabilities for F5 channel partners. This includes defining the strategy, structure and roadmap as well as understanding process flow and downstream impact, executing launch and driving partner adoption and utilization.

This position will own the digital partner experience to ensure adoption and engagement is best of class and adapts based on feedback and usage intelligence.

This individual will work with functional leaders in global channel, sales, and technology services organizations. This person should have material experience in Agile methodologies.

A strong candidate will have a solid experience with operations and process flow, product / program management, release management, cross-functional team leadership, superb communication skills, business analysis, and a drive to ideate.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage with Channel, Sales, and Partners to define the strategy and vision for partner self-serve capabilities
  • Build out the partner self-serve capability roadmap including defining goals, understanding process flow, building out the business case and prioritizing roadmap items.
  • Own end-to-end responsibilities for partner self-service capabilities including ideation, requirements definition, implementation management, communications, analytics, and internal training
  • Act as primary point of contact with Technology Services team for all self-serve capabilities
  • Build consensus and alignment from key stakeholders
  • Translate business needs and objectives into technical requirements for all self-serve capabilities
  • Provide clear, timely communication to stakeholders
  • Collaboration with F5 cross functional teams; channel, sales teams, sales operations, technology services and other associated teams
  • Continuously monitor, optimize, and expand tool availability
  • Ability to understand the voice of the field and voice of the partner and represent this back to the business and technology services to drive programmatic and continuous improvements
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Proven ability to proactively drive complex cross-functional business team deliverables
  • Strategic vision with ability to develop a roadmap and execute on the vision
  • High competence on Salesforce
  • Excellent communication, planning and organization skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Critical thinking, the desire to continuously learn and improve, and comfort working in unfamiliar and undefined areas
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
  • Ability to influence without authority and create trusted partnerships across the organization
  • Qualifications :

  • Robust experience with Salesforce required
  • BS / BA in Business related field or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years working in Sales / Business Operations, Technology Services or Program Management
  • Experience scaling technologies globally
  • Experience launching digital and / or self-service tools
  • Understanding of process flows and data interaction
  • Knowledge / understanding of key sales operations tools. Configure / price / quote (CPQ) tool (Oracle preferred), data warehousing tools (Snowflake preferred), data visualization software (Tableau)
  • Understanding of channel go to market. Previous experience in channel organization / channel model
  • Knowledge of tech market and products is desirable
  • Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to business counterparts
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and drive results with cross-functional teams, ensuring that timelines are adhered to and any risks to the project are called out early
  • Strong project planning and problem-solving skills
