We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to handle data analytics and insighting for the marketing function of Amazon Fashion.
Fashion is one of the fastest new-customer-acquiring categories for Amazon and has large marketing investments toward growing the customer base and driving repeat purchase.
The Business Analyst plays a key role in helping the marketing team analyze hot spots, identify key growth opportunities, and analyze the impact of experiments / initiatives they undertake.
We are looking for someone who is customer-obsessed, analytical, relishes diving deep into data, agile, smart and passionate about e-commerce.
A successful candidate will become a subject matter expert in the customer marketing domain, have the passion for extracting actionable insights from data, and present findings in a simple and clear manner.
He / she should enjoy problem solving and be proficient using Excel and other tools to analyze large data sets.
Analyzing customers across their lifecycle (acquisition, engagement, retention) and developing frameworks and mechanisms to understand them better.
Understanding sources of traffic and developing dashboards to measure traffic and efficiency across all channels
Identifying insights and business hot spots through data analytics
Developing frameworks and metrics for evaluating the impact of marketing pilots / initiatives
Establishing dashboards for daily marketing tasks
Location : This position is based out of Bangalore, India.
3+ years of experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business by the numbers . Must be metrics-driven.
Proven analytical and quantitative skills (including proficiency with tools such as Excel and Access) and an ability to use data to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
Proficiency in SQL
A bachelor's degree at a well-regarded institution in an analytical field (e.g. Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
B.E / B.Tech
An ability to think quantitatively and qualitatively about operating processes and outcomes
Proven experience in identifying opportunities for business improvement, and defining and measuring the success of those initiatives.
Experience with e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media would be an advantage
