As a UI Developer, you will develop innovative UI based solutions and products which will shape user experience of the industry’s next gen products and solutions.
What you'll be doing
Partner with product and engineering teams to translate business and users’ goals into elegant but practical designs that can deliver on key business and user metrics.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to brainstorm new products, features and functionalities that enhance our mobile and web experiences
Give and solicit feedback with designers
Estimation ,Project Planning ,Work allocation , Delivery assurance , ensuring overall quality delivery on time
Take overall responsibility of requirements clarification , design , development , testing and delivery
To work with Delivery managers and colleagues across BT to ensure programmes / projects are successful and integrated with other programmes taking place across the company.
To ensure the appropriate change control processes are established.
To conduct regular project reviews and implement corrective actions.
Open to evaluate latest technologies and willingness to Innovate.
Enhance efficiency of dev / test / release process - develop tools, frameworks as required
To analyse problems and propose solutions by presenting working PoCs (beta code).
Application product development
Responsible for delivering all aspects of design, from defining customer needs to delivering concepts and prototypes to UI specifications for development;
Delivering low defect code; while adhering to BT / Team Code Standards
Delivering code that adhers not only to functional requirements but also non-functional requirements with good understanding of transaction management, session management, performance tuning etc
Support the Bugs and Problems user may face.
To interface with both the vendors and internal organisation at architects / designers / developers level.
Work as a team player to ensure the committed deadline is met with quality

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science or Design
3-6 Years of experience in development of Web and Mobile applications
Experience of working in Agile / Lean teams will be advantage
Expertise in Usability evaluations and Usability testing
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Experience with Data visualization, analytics projects is a plus
Certifications in Interaction Design, UX design or Human computer Interaction is an advantage.
Exposure to latest web technologies like HTML, CSS, Angular, Java script, JQuery, UI framework, Micro service Architecture
Experience in D3.js and 3.js will be added advantage.
TDD and BDD Tools like Jasmine, Cucumber and integration with CI / CD process using CI server like Jenkins.
Best Code practices like Unit testing via Jasmine, Karma and automation of reports and dashboard Implementation of E2E logging framework for monitoring and reporting using open source tools like ELK will be added advantage
Experience in AGILE methodology of development , DevOps
Exposure to open source projects / tools.
Experience in product development environments and knowledge of tools such as Subversion etc.
Ability to technically initiate, lead, motivate and mentor a team
Ability to quickly gather requirements, explore multiple approaches and suggest optimal solutions
Experience of independently designing and delivering subsystems of a larger solution
Experience in leading teams.
Proven analytical & problem solving skills.
