Sitecore Certified Website Developer
The Sitecore Certified Website Developer has the responsibility to develop and deploy our corporate websites through the Sitecore CMS environment.
As part of the Customer Experience team, this individual will work closely with the Customer Solutions Groups (CSG), the IT team, and outside vendors in order to keep our websites functional and current.
In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are :
Serve as the in-house Sitecore expert & developer
Lead Sitecore developer reporting to brand and communications
Mentor other developers (front-end and back-end)
Assist content editors and other end users when using Sitecore
Proactively manage assigned issues and risks and develop remediation plans
Support operational aspects of Sitecore
Maintain the production and development environments
Configure Sitecore environments when needed
Recommend best practices for the content structure in a multisite solution
Follow team process by entering and tracking implementation information including work items and tasks in the Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Create and maintain technical documentation related to solutions
Sitecore solution design
Work independently and collaboratively
Communicate design rationale and build consensus
Develop new approaches to complex design problems
Must be organized and have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
Web Development or equivalent diploma
8+ years of full-time software development experience in an enterprise environment
5+ years of experience designing and developing large enterprise scale websites using Sitecore CMS implementation
Advanced skills in Sitecore development and expertise is a must.
Experience building responsive websites
Strong knowledge of SQL
Experience in source control systems like TFS (VSTS)
Experience with Agile software development practices
Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well thought-out recommendations.
Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations
