JOB SUMMARY :
Oversees all facets of multiple, concurrent, large and / or complex Agile releases, which might be transformational, have high priority and / or financial impact on both the business unit and ACI, in accordance with ACI and industry best practice release management and Agile methodology.
Will have a solid understanding of scaling Agile, and understand the unique opportunities and challenges associated with organizing, facilitating, and continuously aligning a large software release with the guiding business strategy.
Coordinates release planning and oversees the execution of plans across several Scrum teams. Monitors the releases from initiation through implementation, delivery, monitoring and into a business as usual operational status.
Facilitates release-level processes and release execution, escalates impediments, manages risk, and helps drive release-
level continuous improvement.
Continually works toward making improvements in the release process. Identifies stakeholders and reports status to stakeholders and senior management.
Organizes cross-functional activities, facilitating decision making and actions, ensuring completion of each release on time, with agreed upon scope, within budget and of the highest quality, while managing escalation and issue resolution.
