Oversees all facets of multiple, concurrent, large and / or complex Agile releases, which might be transformational, have high priority and / or financial impact on both the business unit and ACI, in accordance with ACI and industry best practice release management and Agile methodology.

Will have a solid understanding of scaling Agile, and understand the unique opportunities and challenges associated with organizing, facilitating, and continuously aligning a large software release with the guiding business strategy.

Coordinates release planning and oversees the execution of plans across several Scrum teams. Monitors the releases from initiation through implementation, delivery, monitoring and into a business as usual operational status.

Facilitates release-level processes and release execution, escalates impediments, manages risk, and helps drive release-

level continuous improvement.

Continually works toward making improvements in the release process. Identifies stakeholders and reports status to stakeholders and senior management.

Organizes cross-functional activities, facilitating decision making and actions, ensuring completion of each release on time, with agreed upon scope, within budget and of the highest quality, while managing escalation and issue resolution.


  • Standard work environment
  • Majority of time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
  • Travel required, may be domestic or international

  • Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security
  • Create low-overhead, preferably automated, reporting structure to allow the organization to understand the current state of the release and to make projections, based on progress of the teams
  • Devise ways to share any information related to the overall release development
  • Forward Plan the release windows and cycles and facilitate release planning event
  • Participate in backlog grooming to ensure cross-team coordination and dependencies are included, providing input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
  • Identify and manage governance and compliance requirements, as well as external dependencies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years release or project management experience and / or relevant experience within a software development environment

  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong ability to understand technical issues at a high level.
  • Demonstrates strong accountability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate as a change agent, influencing and driving action organizationally.
