about the role

1) Provide network security customer support supporting multiple customers

2) Identify security incidents, provide supporting information to clients, and support the client through containment and remediation

3) Analyze security events and conduct regular reviews of log files, platforms, products and services

4) Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause

5) Malware analysis, determining potential new indicators of compromise

6) Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in customer's ecosystem

7) Advanced OSI Model knowledge; Advanced layer 3 and layer 4 packet analysis; In depth, end to end, network troubleshooting and analysis

8) Provide 7x24 production support so candidate will be assigned various shifts

9) Evaluate and implement customer's move, add, change, delete (MACD) requests

10) Conduct risk assessments on all work performed

11) Create clear / concise documentation for continued follow-up and understanding by teammates and leadership

12) Stay abreast of network security trends, applications / software / issues

DDoS : Arbor

Vulnerability Management : Qualys, Nessus

IDS / IPS : Juniper IDP, McAfee IPS

Tools : PCAP, Wireshark, tcpdump, snoop

additional information

1) Experience in delivering training workshops on security awareness topics is an advantage

2) Good communication and presentation skills

3) Effective communication at all levels and to diverse client groups - both technical and nontechnical

department
