About the Role
You will work as part of the Middle Office team to support Strategic Insights and Research team. You will interact closely with multiples business partners from different products like Branding, Competitive Intelligence, Mortgage, Credit Card etc
Provide high quality (zero defect) research output within agreed timelines
Ability to understand business problem- translate it into research problem and give back the business solution to partner
Utilize secondary research data sources such as CEB, Forrester, SBI macro monitor, Mintel etc. other than efficient use of internet / intranet sources containing relevant syndicated research information.
Ability to work closely and independently with partners and senior management stakeholders
Build industry expertise by attending knowledge sessions, database trainings and seminars
Organize and participate in Knowledge Services / Department wide initiatives
Engage with cross culture team members and stake holders
Experience in analyzing unstructured data (customer complaints, customer feedback) and connect with survey data
Comfortable with handling and analyzing large data set
Story boarding (ppt reporting) to answer business and research objectives; Write takeaways and insights on analyzed data
Ability to design processes from ideation stage to implementation of project
Identify basic building blocks required to take department to next level
Strive for excellence, strong commitment towards project delivery and improve efficiency of department
6-8+ years of experience in secondary research and competitive intelligence; Only in Banking / Financial Services / Fintech / Consulting.
At least 6 years in secondary research and / or consulting analyzing customer / market data
Advanced level knowledge to effectively use and training others on secondary research tools and techniques
Excellent Analytical, problem solving and project management skills
Deep understanding of Strategic frameworks for the consulting process i.e. Problem definition, discovery, data collection, recommendation and presentation
Expert with research data analyses, challenge interpretation and make actionable recommendations
Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
Persuasive written, verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
A+ level of expertise in MS office packages PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Comfortable with large data set.
Experience of working across one or more geographic territories or regions
Understanding of research and competitive intelligence frameworks and models (e.g. porter's five forces, SWOT, BCG, etc.)
Handled end to end execution of research, reporting and analysis without any guidance
