Job Role :

Cisco Managed Services (CMS) seeks Technical Leader (L4) to provide technical leadership to Reliance Jio infocom 4G project being delivered from customer location.

The TL handles escalations and assumes ownership for the end-to-end customer experience. Serving in a technology leadership role, the TL creates a bridge that connects the technical and business perspectives of customer engagements.

As part of the Cisco CMS organization, you will be part of a dynamic, fast paced and supportive team of technical talent providing technology leadership to Cisco's biggest customer.

The ideal candidate demonstrates knowledge of Cisco processes and team dynamics across the organization, as well as the superior coaching and motivational skills required to engage, develop and retain top talent on a high-performance team.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Connects with customers and partners across functions and boundaries to achieve significant results. Earns the confidence of customers and is able to use the confidence to achieve results.
  • Solves complex problems where analysis requires in-depth evaluation of factors with imaginative and innovative troubleshooting and experimentation as well as evaluation of intangible variables.
  • Technical expert in a broad area covering multiple technologies including MPLS, Routing Protocols (ISIS, BGP) etc.. Applies expected product behaviour across industry practices.
  • Knows how the technology is expected to work in the industry.

  • Proactively assists other CSEs and beyond with problem resolution. Interacts effectively with Engineering to solve complex problems.
  • Globally identifies serviceability issues and drives resolution of the issues with Engineering and other organizations.

  • Mentors and uses advanced knowledge of the customer experience, issues trends and patterns for early technical involvement.
  • Partners with serviceability teams to author requirements, review PRDs or functional spec. Has active participation with GTC / Engineering partnerships.

  • Collaborates with Engineering on product and software issues, driving resolution of specific bugs.
  • Produces and shares intellectual property (including content and training) in the most productive manner for various audiences, customers, and industry forums.
  • Initiates informal reviews of ideas and technical objectives within and across Services. Work is performed without appreciable direction.
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed by management and through consultation from a relatively long-

    time perspective for results.

  • Typically interfaces with customers including customer upper management, NOC CSE's, Partners, field personnel, CAP Managers, and internal engineering departments and product organizations.

  • Education & Experience :

  • Typically requires BSEE / CS or equivalent with 12+ year’s of relevant experience in a network engineering or telecommunications support environment.
  • CCIE is mandatory
  • Desired Skills :

  • Strong demonstrated experience in the area of IOS XE, IOS XR and NX OS.
  • Should possess 4+ years of technology leadership experience
  • Proven technology leadership experience in working across organization’s cross functional leadership namely engineering / design and sales / marketing verticals
  • Demonstrates strategic skills
  • Ability to formulate and deliver complex presentations throughout Cisco and to customer technical departments
