The primary role of the Industry Alliance Manager is to help the alliances team to build, expand and support the growth of Vlocity Consulting ecosystem through in-
region support of our strategic partnerships, management of our India-based partnerships and local assistance and participation in our partner enablement programs and sessions.
Many of our key Vlocity partners have a significant presence (i.e. delivery centers and / or HQ) in Bangalore or nearby areas, including Accenture, PwC, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro (Appirio) and Cognizant and this role can provide a direct communication channel to these partner groups, as well liaison with Vlocity corporate to ensure all partner activity, messaging and enablement is efficiently and accurately being carried out.
In addition, this role will help extend our reach and presence / participation in key Salesforce events to help build our brand and awareness in this geography and help support and manage technical partner programs in conjunction with our India development teams.
This is initially an Individual Contributor position with opportunity for growth.
The Industry Alliance Manager will be responsible for the following :
Management of APAC-based Consulting : Manage key India-based partners and provide program and general partner support to other APAC partners
Support of key Global SI Alliances : Provide in-region support to our key Global Sis and India-based partners
In-Region Support for key Salesforce or other Vlocity-Partner events : Leverage location to participate in key partner events to promote Vlocity brand
Partner Enablement Support
Provide Partner Program, Company Overview and high-level sales or product presentations as part of overall partner enablement sessions conducted at Vlocity or Partner offices
Liaise with Vlocity University and Partner enablement teams regarding local trainings to provide real-time feedback for continued improvement
Provide Partner Certification Support to Vlocity University and Enablement teams in reporting / monitoring and tracking partner consulting resource capabilities and transitioning to new systems, learning paths and certifications
Required Experience, Skills & Education
8+ years experience in enterprise software Consulting / SI Alliances or related role(s)
Knowledge of SaaS and Cloud offerings, experience in the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus
Working knowledge of CRM Software (preferably Salesforce), Learning Management Systems (LMS), CMS (Content Management Systems) and all Google enterprise Apps
Ability to communicate and engage with partnering organizations in both informal and formal settings for knowledge transfer
Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills and demonstrated operational proficiencies

Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) or equivalent in related field. MBA is preferred
