A Project Manager is a member of the Professional Services delivery team that builds and maintains applications on the Acquia Platform on behalf of customers and partners.
A Project Manager is responsible for executing a project according to Acquia’s methodology.
Key responsibilities :
Accountable for delivering successful customer projects using Acquia’s agile development methodology
Accountable for managing change in order to meet or exceeding project goals, including budget, scope, and timeline goals
Accountable for accurately communicating project status internally and to customers
Accountable for providing informed and timely planning, requirements management, and training support to customers
Accountable for project compliance with Acquia processes and methodologies
Accountable for continuous improvement of the project management discipline in Acquia’s Professional Services
Ad Hoc duties as assigned
Required skills :
10-15 years of overall experience with min 5+ years project management experience & working with global clients.
You will manage complex Web projects. Be passionate about timely delivery; understand project management & Agile methodology in a global setting.
Experience in CMS, Web development or Enterprise web project management is highly preferred.
Familiar with project management best practices JIRA, risk / issue management, change management, progress tracking & leading teams of developers.
Other Skills and Abilities :
Weighs pros and cons of actions. Differentiates when to or when not to escalate issues.
