Lead and manage the Risk & Regulatory and Company Secretary functions for GBS India
First point of contact in Risk, Regulatory & Co Sec matters for stakeholders in Group Co Sec, GBS and Finance.
Aligning to Group’s zero tolerance for non-compliance, the role has to ensure GBS India is fully compliant in all regulatory matters covering but not restricted to the Companies Act, foreign exchange, foreign trade and STPI compliances applicable to Export Oriented Units.
Develop and embed appropriate corporate governance and control framework (including liaison with external regulatory bodies).
Internal : Interaction with multiple stakeholders including the Board of Directors of the Company and various business units domestically and onshore.
The first point of contact for the country in respect of all Finance Operating Risk, Regulatory and Company Secretary matters for GBS India.
External : Meeting the complex regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Group Co Sec, GBS India Board and Business Unit Heads to : Convene and conduct Board and Committee Meetings and be a competent collaborator for providing relevant inputs to the Board which will enable the Board to have insights into the Company’s core areas and take informed strategic decisions.
Support superlative functioning of the entity / units well within the applicable regulations. Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable requirements under the Companies Act, Customs / IGST rules, STPI / EOU regulations and regular interaction with regulators for all these laws.
Interact with various Finance teams for all Finance Risk, Regulatory and Compliance related matters
Monitoring and controlling the level of operational risk exposure that results from GBS Finance processes and control demonstration within the framework of Operational and Technology Risk Type Framework for GBS India Finance and provide guidance to GBS Poland Finance.
Manage the Conduct Plan for entire GBS Finance including all hubs.
Coordinate with GBS India Business Resilience Manager / Team for adhoc and periodic submissions / responses. Report, guide, assist, cascade and escalate BR issues to CFO as appropriate.
Entity level governance meetings including but not limited to employee gratuity and GBS Aid trusts, Regulatory Reporting Governance committee.

Relevant senior management experience, including : Strategic outlook Company Secretarial with exposure to Board of Directors Regulatory compliance Interaction with Various regulators Customer / relationship management Resource and people management
Extensive matrix and line management within a large corporate environment demonstrating effective leadership and mentoring.

Accountable Executive for GBS India, GBS India Board of Directors, Group Co Sec, GBS Hub CFOs, Legal, Compliance, Governance and Business teams.
