Job Description
Manages a small to medium-sized team responsible for definition, planning and management of SCM activities. Supervises and provides technical guidance to assigned project teams.
Manages the process for developing and maintaining SCM systems. Defines, implements and improves upon SCM environments. Monitors software and systems defects.
Ensures product migrations through all systems environments as per SCM processes. Ensures that the day-to-day SCM tasks are carried out appropriately and recommends improvements when appropriate.
Interacts directly with clients regarding project activities as appropriate. Participates in the recruiting process, instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of other software configuration staff, prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback.
Manages a small SCM team. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is preferred.
8+ years of experience in a systems SCM environment, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus..
