As a Professional Services Principal Analyst, you will get to work with an enormous data set which has millions of records.
You will be responsible for understanding Data project requirements, providing consultation, communicating effectively with the customers and internal stakeholders and executing the tasks with quality by adhering to processes and delivering the output.
Also, another prime responsibility would be to identify the improvement areas in terms of tools and technology and work towards scaling it up.
You will get to work alongside a great team of Data Analysts to evaluate and analyze data structures and helping the analysts to build a story around the data, which can be shared with the customers.
You will use your technical know-how, data analysis and problem solving skills in a fast-paced agile environment to push the data quality and presentation to new levels.
Improve overall data quality by performing quality checks on data; identifying anomalies and coverage gaps and suggesting fixes.
Assist the team by ideating and building new tools and solutions to improve the quality, efficiency and customer delight.
Collate, research and analyze data based on an in depth understanding of search tools and sources of business information.
Provide input and consultation on data projects.
Collaborate and work closely with Product and Editorial teams on important and complex projects.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating with key stakeholders via email, phone, webinar, etc.
Use best practices to refine and continuously improve project execution, internal documents and efficiency.
Mentor the Analysts as and when required.
Hands on experience on working with very large data sets, data visualization, data mining, and data cleansing / transformation.
Hands on experience in scripting language (Python).
Experience in using tools like R.
Hands on experience in analytical and statistical skills to analyze data and report metrics.
Strong technical experience with Java scripts and SQL queries.
Exposure towards database concepts and expertise in advanced MS-Excel.
Excellent in large and complex data analysis and quality assurance .
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail, ability to think strategically and logically.
Experience in working on small projects that exceeded customer expectations within delivery timeline with high quality results.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Independently with customers on custom projects and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Nice to have :
Understanding of REST API.
Experience in Visual Basic for
Applications (VBA) for Excel.
Experience working as a tester will be an added advantage.
Understanding of all phases of SDLC with more focuses on Agile & Scrum methodologies.

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Systems or any Engineering field.
6 - 8 years of relevant experience in complex data analysis, handling large data-sets, building tools and solutions as part of continuous improvement.
