Strategic Business Partnering : This inter alia includes the following,
Collaborate with India Technology unit to,
Support functioning of the Technology business unit well within its annual budgets / forecasts Approx USD 300 Mn
Strategise on pricing for activities man-day and cost plus models
Facilitate the unit to plan and deliver productivity saves
Maintain margins in line with regulatory requirements
Aid business to reap cost effectiveness through efficient infrastructure management premises cost and seat utilisation being a key parameter for cost effectiveness
Member of Chennai Technology Operations Management Committee Technology India Leadership Team
Represent Finance in the committee consisting of approx 25 business unit heads and ensure finance compliance in all strategic and routine business activities.
Identification and Mitigation of Risks, impact analysis and representation in unit Risk Committee.
Represent Finance in Technology Risk Forums and highlight finance related risks and track progress to closure
Manage financial database of the division and ensure timely provision of all MIS along with key analytics viz. Monthly Revenue and Cost statements with variance from Budget / Forecasts, Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), Margin statements
Internal stakeholder management : Principal SPOC, covering three hubs, for Group Finance team at Singapore, for Revision of price man-day , including justification, concurrence and implementation of the same in clarity’ systemProjection of margins and pass back of actual during quarter endsProjection of recharges during Forecast cycles and Corporate Plan exercisesCo-ordination with onshore business and BE teams for recording group driven cost efficiencies
Driving process efficiencies and automation Constantly review and challenge processes and brings in efficiencies through automation and simplification.
Actively engage with external stakeholders along with the business Vendors (exclusively for commercial portion of the engagement (in case of disputes around tax, volume discounts etc), internal and external audit Facilitate Head of Technology during country regulatory due diligence / visits eg PRA and Country compliance teams.
Peopled Management : Manage a high performing team within India with an extended overview of resources at other hubs. Lead the team forSetting and exercising effective controls through robust approval processes in collaboration with Financial Control teamPreparation of monthly financial MI, forecasts and corporate plan exercisesEnsure generation of monthly financial MI and socialisation of the same with the cluster headsEnsuring compliance of the Bank’s guiding principles and values behavioursEnsuring compliance of company and financial policies such as completion of mandatory e-learnings and corporate social responsibilitiesDevelop talents and build a strong pipeline of finance business partner
Our Ideal Candidate
Incumbent to possess relevant experience in senior finance management (preferably from technology industry).
Exposure to management of revenue and cost through time & material’ base will be an added advantage.
