You will be accountable for building effective relationships with your peers, with all stakeholders and the designer team.

You will be owner for end-to-end implementations and also write Scripts for implementation / delivery. You will be responsible for delivery and consultancy Key objectives with high-customer engagement and satisfaction, as our customer’s trust-advisor for BT’s product portfolio and drive revenue collection by delivering high quality of service.

What I’ll be doing your accountabilities

  • You have to personally rollout end-to-end LAN and WAN and WLAN implementations, and maintain automation in a Cisco networking environment.
  • Working standalone and in team as part of managed projects on incoming customer requests using defined processes for provisioning.
  • Dealing with (create, cease, modify, validate) site and customer related configuration settings.

  • Keeping up to date with the latest development of networking technologies, in particular where related to Cisco and to demonstrate good knowledge of BT products and processes within own product areas.
  • You have to provide the technical support for request fulfilment, delivery, troubleshooting and hyper care to the customer network service requests.
  • As an assigned consultant for specific projects you will need to validate (pre & post checks) the existing running configurations, to create implementation plans and provide technical approval for every change, assist and notify the customer account team proactively, if there is any network related issue, or obstacle.

    Candidate is required to support request fulfilment in addition to project work, migrations.

  • You need to guide and support our stakeholders (e.g. Project Managers, Technical Designers) to achieve performance, customer experience expectations and quality standards within budget.
  • You will need to provide troubleshooting and consultancy to technical design team and project management. Identifying possible issues and recommending changes to improve reliability, performance of the service.
  • Attending customer calls when appropriate.

    Providing 3rd line support for other technical delivery team’s reported incidents, including troubleshooting, diagnostics and implementing resolution, also to maintain training of other junior and senior team members

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Expert level understanding of LAN / WAN / WLAN / BGP / MPLS / OSPF / EIGRP / DMVPN / IPSEC / Voip / ISDN / SIP / Cloud technologies
  • Expert level of Cisco Data(Routing and Switching) & Wireless Products (Meraki, Arista, HP etc.)
  • Full level understanding of the BT products solutions to a solid basic’ level (e.g. same as Sales roles) and in depth BT's operational / service processes would be beneficial
  • Solution designing and multi-layer troubleshooting
  • Technical knowledge for WLAN products and services including intermediate level knowledge of ISE.
  • Full level understanding of SDWAN technology for CISCO / MERAKI.
  • Knowledge on cloud components like AWS, Azure along with DyNS will be preferred.
  • Expert level Technical understanding of architecture and design flows
  • Hands on experience developing architectural designs, processes, procedures and working on cloud infra projects such as migration to public clouds (MS Azure & AWS);
  • Understanding of security flow and firewalls in the network.
  • Ability to organize and attend on international conference call and discuss technical issues
  • Experience in operation of end to end customer solutions
  • Good written and verbal English skills
  • Expert understanding of protocols, applications, tools, products and services of CISCO Routing, Switching, Network Security and Wireless up to CCNP-CCIE level with proven deep level undertanding, configuration and troubleshooting capabilities including : dmVPN phase 1-3 over IPSec IKEv1-v2, L3 MPLS, QoS, AAA, SNMP v1-v3, Zone-Based FW, RSA Certification enrollment, MAN, L2 MPLS, packet capture mechanisms and analysis of data, mDNS, ISE, Webauth, Radius NAC, High availability, AVC, advanced DDOS protection.
  • Configuring and understanding Meraki (MR / MS and MX), Meraki Dashboard, Cisco / Meraki centric LAN, and WLAN environment.
  • Conduct predictive wireless assessments and deployments at global sites, to perform installation, maintenance and upgrade of Meraki-based WLAN dashboard and access points, adding and claiming new devices.

  • Juniper configuration practice."
  • Hands-on knowledge for network configuration delivery over manual configuration for data network comissioning, amend and transformation projects and WAN, LAN, WLAN modifications.
  • Certification or proven equivalent knowledge of : Cisco CCNP or CCIE level Routing, and Switching, and Wireless, and Security, and Meraki
  • Experience & contribute to solving complex problems.
