Job Responsibilities

Assist with planning service capacity, forecasting demand, analyzing software performance, and tuning systems.

Configure, maintain, and support core infrastructure services like Active Directory, GPO, SCCM, Jamf Pro, AzureAD, SSO, O365, Solarwinds, and Cloudwatch.

Monitor, review, and respond to Solarwinds, Cloudwatch, Splunk alerts for early problem detection and troubleshooting.

Executes deployment plans and operational activities such as operating system upgrades, application deployment, patching, etc.

Create auto provisioned images based on end-user’s job role or responsibilities

Create and deploy packages to setup / manage Mac OS and policies

patch management

test and evaluate any new MacOS version

Integrate application and systems monitoring into OpsGenie, Slack, or Statuspage.

Create, monitor, and maintain backups for EC2, EBS volumes, FSx, RDS, etc.

Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.

Work efficiently with minimal guidance.

Share on-call support duties.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background

Strong knowledge of AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, Glacier, storage gateways, SMS, Cloud Endure.

Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, AzureAD, SSO, SQL, IIS, SCCM, and O365.

Able to explain technical concepts to inexperienced users.

Technical Requirement and Qualification :

Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science and 4+ years’ work experience in the specialty area or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems, as well as networks, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals

Lead installation, configuration, and maintenance efforts related to computer operating systems with an emphasis on both Windows and MAC OS

Experience with Microsoft SCCM (imaging, software deployment, patching)

Experience with JAMF / JumpCloud (create and deploy packages to setup / manage Mac OS and policies, patch management)

Experience with Active Directory / O365 / Azure administration

Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell or others)

Ability to prioritize work based on department and production objectives

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work and make decisions independently in a fast-paced environment

3 years of experience administering Windows servers (Optional )

3 years of experience administering Active Directory, group policy, DNS, and DHCP

Azure, Active Directory and Office 365 administration is a plus

System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft, Apple or other network related fields are a plus

General Requirements :

Ability to provide technical support over the phone as well as over email

Ability to work with or without direct supervision

Exceptional and professional written and oral communication skills

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills

Must possess solid knowledge of both Windows & Mac OS, Apple iOS (iPhone / iPad), and ability to support standard Microsoft business applications and other corporate technology applications

Maintains and consistently demonstrates a general knowledge of company guidelines, processes, practices and procedures

Provide Tier II / III technical support, as needed

Participate in an on-call rotation
