  • Security Technology Services (STS) is a critical function within Standard Chartered Bank operating under the overall purview of Technology Services .
  • The STS team is made up of cyber security thought leaders, who are accountable for the provision of a global set of cyber security services and products to maintain and continuously improve Bank’s cyber security posture in today’s ever evolving cyber security landscape.
  • The STS team protect the Bank from cyber security threats by delivering effective information security technology services, managing and responding to security incidents to ensure, and support the continuity and growth of Bank’s business operations;
  • and meet the both internal and external stakeholders’ expectations across 70+ countries and territories, in which SCB operates.

  • As part of the Security Transformation activities within SCB, a new Network Security Service has been created. This requires a highly skilled and experienced Cyber and Network Security professional to work with the portfolio head to define and build the capability to improve Bank’s network security posture in order protect the Bank from complex cyber threats. RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Assist with business case development of Network Security projects and initiatives
  • Lead ongoing reviews of portfolio processes and develop optimisation strategies
  • Plan, monitor and report on Network Security initiatives
  • Elicit requirements across the business and engineering teams, simplify, and prioritise into coherent book of work for the portfolio
  • Requirements management, simplification and communication across service lines and stakeholders
  • Liaise with STS service and function lines to coordinate planning activities
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users
  • Managing competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of portfolio projects KEY STAKEHOLDERS :

  • Head of Cloud Engineering COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS) :
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Banking and Information Technology
  • Excellent communication skills oral, written and presentation; technical reporting writing across various types of target audiences.
  • Experience working with senior decision makers
  • Proven analytical background and ability to conduct cost / benefit analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Highly entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication and an unrelenting drive to success and win
  • Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organisation’s goal. Exudes confidence and will roll-
  • up his / her sleeves to drive success
