Job Summary : The Commercial Manager brings in an excellent market knowledge in order to attract new corporate customers, drive commercial strategies, win corporate deals, manage the contracts, build and nurture business relationships, and successfully manage the sales team.
Commercial Manager’s main focus is to oversee the sales plans to ensure Morgan meets its obligations and achieves its desired sales targets.
Responsibilties : Provide commercial insights in order to execute against annual sales plan and deliver value for our corporate customers across Indian territory.
Oversee sales targets and closely monitor sales against budgets to ensure growth and profitability. Identify new opportunities for business development in order to maximize sales.
Manage and follow up on sales activities of Morgan distribution channels in India. B2B sales pipeline management using CRM or ERP software.
Running regular commercial reviews with the partners and identify opportunities for commercial improvement. Work closely with the Commercial Director and CFO on pricing in the given territory.
Create compelling value propositions for our corporate customers. Attract and acquire new corporate clients, establish and nurture business relationships that would lead to successful deals and award of contracts.
Manage all contracts and post-contract relationships with the corporates maintaining contract policy standards. Deliver insightful knowledge of Indian market including competitors’ strategies, operations, portfolio and pricing, as well as other external factors that might affect the sales.
Successfully oversee and lead the sales team on the ground, setting monthly and annual sales targets and making sure the targets are met.
Develop teamwork spirit by demonstrating shared goals and values; provide leadership and support to the sales team, motivate and encourage going the extra mile, improve selling techniques, customer service, business acumen and maintain a positive attitude among team members.
