Job Scope / Summary The Middleware Administrator Open LDAP position requires self-motivation and technical proficiency in the administration and configuration of Open LDAP server and Clients including effective troubleshooting abilities.
This position is focused on providing Open LDAP administration and support to ensure extraordinary support for the customer .
Expertise on IBM Tivoli Directory server is also required to support the customer. Overall responsibility for performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for candidates with 4-7 years Relevant experience in LDAP (OpenLdap) and administration with large scale infrastructures for access management .
The candidate must demonstrate solid experience with system administration, change management, user management and software logistics to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the supported environment.
The candidate should be able to provide 2nd level of support to 1st level Administrators within the team. Experience with setting up LDAP replication agreements, user Password encryption settings, Configuration of multi-tier password policies.
Experience with LDAP command line tools and performance test tools. Excellent understanding of enterprise LDAP deployments Excellent understanding of the internet protocols TCP / IP, LDAP / LDAPS, SSL / TLS etc Proven architectural and design background Experience with IBM Tivoli Directory Server Experience in Middleware technologies apache , tomcat , jboss , websphere Proven development experience in scripting like shell , perl Hands on experience with LDAP products, preferably open LDAP in a Linux environment.
Other Similar experience other LDAP products on Linux platform would be also considered Experience working with LDAP ACIs LDAP integration of third party products Experience working in Redhat Linux environment Experience in Middleware technologies like Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat, Apache, IIS will be an added advantage.
