Join the team building Amazon’s first digital HR workforce! You will be part of the team automating manual HR processes through Robotics Process Automation (RPA), allowing the HR Services organization to globalize their services with unlimited scalability.

As a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) you will draw on your strong analytical skills to dive deep and design logical and flexible solutions that simplify complex or redundant processes, seeking to standardize where possible and to improve the overall quality of the process / product.

Your work is the basis for the technical build and testing efforts that follow, and your thoroughness will diminish scope creep and timeline delays.

You are the main point of contact for business POC / SMEs, developers, and testers because you become the SME on the process / solution being automated / designed.

Our BSAs take pride in their role and feel ownership and accountability for the automations / products delivered.

Responsibilities include :

  • Lead deep dive sessions to shadow business processes, elicit requirements, define exceptions, and identify pain points
  • Query and analyze data to obtain and substantiate metrics, as well as drive decisions regarding automation scope and prioritization
  • Create detailed process flows, user stories, and functional specifications
  • Collaborate with development teams and application owners to design and implement automation solutions
  • Review QA / SIT / UAT test scenarios and scripts, as well as participate in functional testing, ensuring all use cases are validated
  • Prepare user guides for process automation system / tools
  • Provide support post deployment for issues / bugs, enhancement requests, and automation optimization opportunities as well as defining support structure prior to launch
  • Proven experience implementing Robotics Process Automation (RPA) projects working with internal teams as well as vendors
  • Experience with automation platforms like UiPath or BluePrism
  • Experience with HR systems and tools (PeopleSoft / Workday / Kronos a plus)
  • Advanced SQL and Excel (macros) skills
  • Experience identifying and resolving complex issues (problem solver), taking initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
  • Ability to anticipate obstacles and develop plans to resolve them
  • Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements and prioritize tasks
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to use judgement and instinct to make decisions
  • Experience working with global stakeholders / team members
  • Ability to dive deep and develop innovative ideas for process challenges
