Your Responsibilities :

  • People Management : hold regular one-to-one discussions with your direct reports, manage performance, provide mentoring and development support, assist with hiring and onboarding process
  • Coordinate with internal stake holders in process associated work
  • Partner with third party payroll providers to ensure timely deliverables
  • Oversee timely and accurate processing of payroll and adherence to guidelines including SOX and regulations
  • Assist with queries and escalations from internal and external groups
  • Act as backup for Team Manager when needed
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Participate in projects and organizational initiatives to improve and streamline processes
  • Provide suggestions and ideas that enhance processes and simplify operations
  • Deliver on ad-hoc assignments as business requires
  • Ensuring process documents are updated accurately by the team members
  • Critically review and analyze current payroll, benefits and tax procedures in order to recommend and implement changes leading to adoption of best-practices
  • Ensure pay registers are processed in accordance to inputs submitted
  • Review and post payroll journal entries in SAP
  • Review payroll account reconciliations on a regular basis and take necessary actions on any aged outstanding balances
  • Analyze and provide reasons for variances between periods and support any related queries
  • Ensure proper and timely payroll accruals
  • You Need :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of related experience in multi-country payroll
  • Atleast 3+ years of people management experience
  • Ability and motivation to work efficiently and productively in a multi-task environment and with minimal direction
  • Ability to identify and analyze problems using sound judgment and determine solutions to effectively resolve issues
  • Strong task management and prioritization capabilities
  • Ability to initiate process improvement plans and work towards change
  • Flexible to changing priorities and to work outside of office hours as per business requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • You Preferably Have :

  • Master’s degree in Finance or professional accounting degree
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • Experience in managing third party payroll vendor
