Your team designs and builds the hardware, software and networking technologies that power all of Google's services. As a Hardware Engineer, you design and build the systems that are the heart of the world's largest and most powerful computing infrastructure.

You develop from the lowest levels of circuit design to large system design and see those systems all the way through to high volume manufacturing.

Your work has the potential to shape the machinery that goes into our cutting-edge data centers affecting millions of Google users.

Pulling on your technical and leadership expertise, you lead end-to-end research projects in multiple areas of expertise across data center facilities and manage a team of direct reports working on equipment installation, troubleshooting and debugging.

In this role, you will be part of Google’s Silicon team, developing high-performance hardware and software to enable Google’s continuous innovations in this space.

You will lead the cross-functional team responsible for application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC) functional verification.

You will work with architects and logic designers to develop test plans and then drive the team to implement your plans.

You will also work closely with Validation teams to enable a successful silicon bring-up and deliver quality silicon to internal customers.

Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in architecting and driving functional verification for ASIC
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience in driving cross-functional teams for high-quality tape-outs
  • Experience leading silicon verification of an IP
  • Experience in prototyping, emulation, and field-programmable gate array (FPGA)
  • Be the primary point of contact for ASIC functional verification for cross-functional teams.
  • Set the growth and own verification methodology for multiple chips.
  • Participate with Architecture and System Design teams in architecture definition.
  • Plan the verification of large-scale ASIC by fully understanding the design specification and interacting with design engineers to identify important verification scenarios.
  • Lead / drive the building of reusable design Verification infrastructure components for environments. Manage a team of design verification engineers.
