PURPOSE OF THE ROLE .
Epsilon is currently seeking a highly driven APAC Pricing Lead (Deal Desk) to join our Global Deal Desk team. As a Pricing Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of the company’s growth efforts working in close partnership with our Sales organization in the construct, review and approval of business opportunities.
In addition to this, you will also act as the coordinator between the Sales team and all other corporate functions as business opportunities are evaluated, negotiated and closed.
Finally, you’ll develop relationships at all levels and across the entire company in support of your deal function. Functionally reporting to the Director : Pricing-Deal Desk in the U.
S., you will own a Pricing Territory, supporting Sales and Client Services teams in the APAC region. This role will also directly report to a local manager, Director FP&A in Bengaluru, India.
This will be an individual contributor role initially with the idea that as the region / business grows, so will the team.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY .
Be a trusted advisor to the Sales and Client Services teams, collaborating on pricing, product, and commercial terms for standard and complex, non-standard deals
Work as a liaison between multiple groups, such as accounting, sales ops, legal, and product teams, to help facilitate the deal process
Lead review of the deal-specific pricing models and ensure they are fully robust with an accurate representation of profitability (e.
g. costs, pricing rates, P&L calculations)
Develop and provide Pricing and Approval Process training
Collaborate and share best practices across geographies / regions
Develop deep understanding of the company’s operations and cost drivers, and incorporate this knowledge into pricing practices to improve margins
5-10 years’ experience working in a similar Finance / Business role
CA, CWA, MBA preferred
Experience working in the software / technology industry preferred
Understanding of revenue recognition accounting principles, US GAAP and IFRS
International experience working with multiple time zones and cultures preferred
Experience developing financial models in Excel using multiple data sources
Experience managing pricing processes that involve cross-functional and global partners
Experience working with various levels of an organization including leadership, peers, and junior team members
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively manage projects supporting multiple business partners
Strong inter-personal and communication skills including enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit, resilience and a collaborative mindset
A thorough understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines, able to multi-task
