About the Business & Position Overview - Job Profile

Key Responsibilities To bring more focus & intensity in driving top-line, bottom-line & market share across the country for each category, viz.

Refrigerators, Washing Machines, ACs & Microwave ovens, each category is headed by a Product Group Head for effective category business planning.

He is assisted by a Product Manager to manage the Product Life Cycle of the category and will have the following key responsibilities :

  • Volume, Value, Profit objectives
  • New Product Planning & Introduction
  • Designing Local Branch Schemes
  • Market Intelligence Job Description Volume, Value, Profit objectives
  • Drive Branches to achieve Quarterly Volume, Value and Contribution Targets
  • Improve realization per unit by driving a profitable segment mix
  • Focus on products across regions for achievement of growth targets as per Business plan
  • Drive Market shares
  • Liquidation of Obsolete stocks at branches
  • New Product Planning & Introduction

  • Conduct regular analysis to project segment movements
  • Define strategy for new product introductions under guidance from Product Group Head & ensure successful execution as per plan
  • Ensure rigorous adherence to ensure that Project progresses as per Timelines
  • Designing Local Branch Schemes

  • Drive initiatives and develop Schemes to Focus on High End Profitable Products
  • Design solutions on Secondary sales activation programs, consumer offers, in-shop promotions for channel partners, trade schemes.
  • Market Intelligence

  • Identifying potential markets, recommend new business development plans & Market Development strategy
  • Study global trends, product innovations, competition tracking, market share analysis, loss of opportunity review & action plan.
  • Qualification Details Essential Qualification : Graduation + MBA Preferred Qualification : - Experience Details Essential Experience : 4 Years with Graduation + MBA Preferred Experience : Prior experience in Channel Sales / Modern Trade / E Commerce / Institutional Sales / Trade Marketing Special Skill Essential : Excellent analytical skills
