Challenges :

Plans and manages the production process (incl. equipment, personnel) during the shift within the area of the responsibility

Controls the use of production equipment

Ensures the on time production (in accordance with the relevant customer specific requirements)

Controls and ensures the availability and faultlessness of all required equipment, tools, work instructions, etc. for the work during the shift -

Controls the achievement of the shift targets (quality and quantity) according to schedule

Reviews the previous shift in the shift book and ensures exchange of the information between the shifts (e.g. in the shift book)

Updates the daily shift reports

Ensures up-to-date visualization in the area of the responsibility (e.g. team boards)

Supports the Production control

Guarantees the ongoing regular control and analysis of the production results during the shift (e.g. efficiency, quality, waste of products, rejects etc.)

Ensures regular exchange of information (e.g. quality feedback) between other departments during the shift

Ensures up-to-date visualization in the area of the responsibility (e.g. team boards)

Identifies and introduces the necessary counter measures (e.g. KOSU, KATA) and / or ensures escalation

Ensures the continuous optimization and improvement of the production process within the area of the responsibility

Checks the ergonomics of the workplaces and initiate required improvement measures

Organizes the workplaces to eliminate the waste on the shop floor using 5S Methodology

Ensures proper handling of components and material, optimizes the in-process material storage

Use and apply the PDCA cycle in order to improve the processes and systems from the area of responsibility

Contributes actively to the continuous improvement process (CIP)

Introduces the measures to achieve the production targets of the shift (performance, quality, personnel motivation, costs)

Ensures People Management during the shift

Assigns and supervises the allocation of employees during the shift

Facilitates and leads the teams in the area of the responsibility, improves team performance

Supervises the deputation process during the shift

Ensures the job rotation of the employees (acc. to e.g. qualification and rotation matrices)

Selection and recruitment, AIP interviews, etc.

Supports the employees- administration (e.g. vacation, overtime, attendance lists, etc.)

Integrates and trains the new / transferred employees, ensures the on-boarding process within the area of the responsibility

Evaluates and validates the new employees at the end of the training plan period / probation period; ensures the performance evaluation, assessment of employees, etc.

Plans the trainings, (re)qualification measures of the employees within the area of the responsibility

Participates on the team meetings during the shift, ensures exchange of the information

Participates the daily stand up meeting in the segment

Participates actively in information exchange between the different departments and ensures the proper information flow within the own area of responsibility

Support staff in problem-solving processes

Collaborates with other departments (e.g. Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering etc. in order to implement e.g.

the Technical Changes, Process of new index implementation, work instructions, process flow).

Manages the disciplinary procedures for the employees

Qualifications :

Level of education : Industrial Engineer / Bachelor degree / BTS Degree

Work experience : 1 year experience in wiring industry
