Job Responsibilities :

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
  • Independently own and address and resolve applications issues, provide updates and perform root cause analysis.
  • Plan, execute and implement applications and configuration change procedures
  • Supervise all alerts related to application and system procedures and provide services proactively.
  • Maintain good professional relationships with counterparts of engineering, Platform support and end Users etc.
  • Gain and maintain expertise in flow of application process and systems related to domain
  • Coordinate across teams and resolve all complex application and system issues ranging in complexity (Low to Critical)
  • Install and prepare tools required for proper functioning of applications on regular basis.
  • Coordinate with departments and QA departments and administer code migrations in various environments and production outputs.
  • Manage all production system and recommend ways to optimise performance and provide solution to problems and prepare reports for all problems.
  • Follow standards and best practises to bring operational efficiencies, stability and availability of the system.
  • Comprehend various metrics on operational dashboards and reports and take corrective actions
  • Detect and analyze monitoring graphs and alerts to identify systems causing production impacts with various tools like Grafana, Prometheus, MMS, Kibana, Graphite, Service Now, JIRA, Dynatrace, New Relic, Omniture, Splunk, and CDN logs Reduce MTTD Mean Time to Detect
  • Design, develop, and support automated event driven engagement solutions for cross-functional teams using various programming languages like Java, JavaScript (React, Node JS), Python and Shell programming technologies like Prometheus, Database Query languages for infrastructure availability issues
  • Position Requirements :

    Minimum qualifications :

  • B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in software application support / development.
  • Exposure to web applications and knowledge in trouble shooting, fixing, application issues
  • Knowledge on cloud platforms solutions
  • Good working and hands on experience in production support and analysis tools.
  • Additional Qualifications :

  • Hands on experience on CI / CD development environments / tools : Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure.
  • Hands on experience in scripting : Ansible, Bash, Golang, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Ruby.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly, willingness to learn new and emerging technologies.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
