Wavemaker is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally.

We are currently looking for a Manager / Group Head, Content Partnerships to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and executing content partnerships for Wavemaker South clients.

The said partnerships will include branded content, sports & live events, with a focus on branded content.

In this role, your goals will be :

In three months :

  • Understand the GroupM / Wavemaker ecosystem and develop an understanding of how things work here by building relationships will key stakeholders
  • Develop a thorough understanding of one of the biggest deals that Wavemaker South has crafted for one of its key clients, build client & partner relationships and be involved in the day-to-day servicing
  • In six months :

  • Service two deals end-to-end while managing client and partner expectations
  • Develop a thorough understanding on the content ecosystem in the country (including regional) : key platforms, content creators, key projects, etc.
  • In 12 months :

  • Close and service one branded content deal by directly engaging with the clients
  • What your day job looks like at Wavemaker :

  • Nurture relationships (both internal and external)
  • Oversee one tentpole branded content project
  • Travel to service a sports / branded content association
  • Take client briefs and subsequently brief partners for ideas / properties / solutions

  • Some level of existing knowledge of branded content eco-system in the country
  • Collaborative nature as one will have to work with multiple teams across media, content, activations, etc. to ensure best possible outcome for the clients
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Graduate (any discipline) with 3-8 years of total experience
  • Some level of experience in branded content, either working with a rights holder / platform or agency
  • Experience in account management / servicing
