JobTitle : QA FM Modelling Analyst
The Quantitative Analytics BA3Analyst position provides project specific expertise in building targetingsolutions that integrate effectively into existing systems and processes whiledelivering strong and consistent performance.
Working with QA Managers, the QAAnalyst role provides expertise in project design, predictive modeldevelopment, validation, monitoring, tracking, implementation and / orspecification.
What will you be doing?
oDevelop predictive models, statisticalanalyses, optimization procedures, monitoring processes, data quality analyses,and score implementations supporting impairment and collections.(60%)
oValidate, track, and monitor deliveredprojects. (20%)
oProduce robust documentation to ensurereplicability of results and fulfil Barclays governance requirements. (10%)
oWork constructively with other Barclaysresources to deliver projects. (5%)
oContribute to the broader QuantitativeAnalytics department through participation in peer reviews, terms of referencereviews, modelling forums, and ad hoc project collaboration. (5%)
Whatwe’re looking for :
oPost graduate university degree inquantitative discipline required (ex. Statistics, Operations Research,Economics, Computer Science, Engineering).
Graduate studies, Masters or PhD required.
oA good knowledge of data analysis, theory and statisticaltechniques (such as linear or nonlinear models, logistic regression, macroeconomic forecast, decision trees, clusteranalysis and neural networks etc.)
oAn ability to produce reports and interrogatesystems to produce analysis and resolve discrepancies / queries.
oProficiency with analytical software Python , SQL tools (e.g., Oracle), Unixplatforms, and MS Office required.
oStrong analytical work experience in a financialservices company preferred.

oStrong analytical, technical and / orstatistical skills with proven ability to process large datasets intomeaningful information.
oAn understanding of the fundamentalprinciples of the CCAR or CCEL or Basel II Accord or IFRS
oStrong communication skills & ability towork independently.
